About the event
Running for maternal health and safe motherhood.
The Correctional Ladies Association of Zambia is the women's association of the Zambia Correctional Service. Its motto is Rising by helping others.
The Marathon 2026 carries a single theme: promoting maternal health and safe motherhood. Three distances go off from Lusaka Showgrounds on the morning of Saturday 19 September 2026, and every entry, every kilometre and every shirt on the start line carries that message.
Participation is open to the public. Serving officers, running clubs, corporate teams, families and first-time runners are all welcome to enter.

Who may enter?
Entry is open to the public. Serving officers of the Zambia Correctional Service, running clubs, workplaces, families and first-time runners are all welcome. Register online and pay the K500 entry fee to secure a place.
What distances are offered?
Three categories: a 5KM fun run, a 10KM road race and a 21KM half marathon. All three start at 05:30 hrs from Lusaka Showgrounds.
What does the K500 entry fee cover?
Entry into your chosen distance plus the full race kit: an event t-shirt in your selected size, an event cap, your race bib, a finisher medal and a goodie bag.
How is payment made?
Payment is by MTN Mobile Money through the secure checkout at the end of the registration form, payable to the Correctional Ladies Association of Zambia. A place is confirmed once payment is received, and a confirmation carrying the registration reference is issued.
Are refunds or transfers permitted?
No. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please confirm your availability for the date before paying.
Is t-shirt size selected at registration?
Yes. Size selection is a required field on the registration form. Sizes run from S to 3XL and are allocated on a first-come basis, so early entry is advised where a specific size is needed.
When and where are race packs collected?
Collection dates and venue will be announced on this page before race week. Bring your registration reference and an identity document.
When do entries close?
Entries open on 23 July 2026 and close on 15 September 2026, four days before race day. There is no entry on the morning of the race.
